Marly and Moo is an American Gastropub from esteemed Chef Brian Knadle.


Brian Knadle is a well-known area chef, restaurateur and entrepreneur. Brian began cooking in 1992 at “Franky’s”, in Chico. He continued his career at the Benbow Inn in Humboldt County and has worked locally at Piatti’s and Scott’s seafood.  Brian also opened 2 successful fine dining steakhouses in California.  

Marly and Moo is located in the Historic Folsom District at 608 Sutter Street.
Historic Folsom is the heart of Folsom, rich in history and bursting with charm. Check out their art galleries, boutiques or live theater and enjoy a memorable meal at Marly and Moo.  

We look forward to providing guests with an upscale casual dining experience that will consistently exceed their expectations. “Service and food are our greatest passions at Marly & Moo” said Brian Knadle, Owner/Executive Chef. “Supporting local farms and businesses, intensely fresh, and seasonal food have been a passion of mine for over 20 years.”  

All meals are thoughtfully prepared with the freshest local ingredients available. The menu will change often to incorporate seasonal ingredients.   

Marly & Moo is ardent about having seasonal craft beers for you and your friends on tap. Lagers, Ale's, IPA's, Stouts, Porters, etc. Don’t worry, they’ve got some old standbys as well. Their craft beer selection is complimented by their artisan cocktails.  

Homemade mixers, the freshest ingredients, and premium liquors to make you fresh and flavorful libations.

Marly and Moo is named for Owner, Brian Knadle's daughter Macy. The Urban Dictionary describes a “Marly” as “a beautiful girl who is shy at first, but once you get close to her you’ll see the fun side of her.” Marly and Moo is the combination of “Marly” and Macy’s childhood nickname, Macy Moo.
